The Stony Brook School has continued to grow in its commitment to academic excellence. This was recently acknowledged by the College Board, who named SBS a Platinum Recipient on their 2023 AP School Honor Roll thanks to the participation and achievement on display in our 20 AP course offerings.
The three criteria that all received Platinum remarks were:
- College Culture: Percent of students in the graduating class who took an AP exam at any point in high school, regardless of score.
- College Credit: Percent of students in the graduating class who scored 3+ on any AP Exam in high school.
- College Optimization: Percent of students in the graduating class who took 5 or more AP Exams in high school.
