As the school year draws to a close and finals loom, the students of the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy took a pause from their academic pursuits to come together for their final service project of the year—the Impact Project.
This project, a testament to their commitment to service and compassion, was a significant part of their character development journey. This year, their efforts were directed towards providing warmth and nourishment to those in need through a partnership with Heart of the Hamptons, a local soup kitchen that accepts homemade soups to distribute to those in need.
Their project wasn’t just making soup—each container of soup was accompanied by handwritten cards with Scripture verses, offering words of encouragement and comfort to those receiving them.
Big thanks to Emily Riley and Chad Perney, who welcomed students into their homes to help make different soups, and to Mollie Duggal, who transported all the soup to Heart of the Hamptons.
